As you probably know Tasker is required for this app to be of any actual use, so get it here if you don’t already have it installed!

Open up Tasker

Open up Tasker

Once it’s installed, open up Tasker.

Open the menu by pressing the 3 dots and click Preferences

Open the menu by pressing the 3 dots and click Preferences

From the Tasker main screen click the “3-dot” menu button in the upper right corner and select Preferences.

Go to the Misc tab and Enable External Access

Go to the Misc tab and Enable External Access

Now navigate to the tab called “Misc” (again upper right corner) and enable the checkbox “Allow External Access”

That’s it! If you’ve followed these steps, and have some Tasks set up within Tasker they should now show up inside WearTasker when clicking the + button! Have fun experimenting!

    Isn’t this setting dangerous?

It does indeed mean that other apps can potentially trigger your Tasker Tasks. But it is the only way to achieve this kind of functionality, and is vital for the functionality of WearTasker.
